Boss audio system no power?

i just hooked up my boss audio system to make sure it worked i hooked up all the wires except the illumination and the parking brake(it has a dvd output). the cd remove light is illuminated but the power wont turn on. might it be because those two wires are not connected or is it something else? i pressed the reset on and nothing happened. i also havnt bought a antenna adaptor might this cause the problem also? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to have a broken collar bone for 8 days and not realize it?

I went snowboarding 8 days ago, and took a nasty fall on my last run. My immediate concern at the moment of impact was that I may have dislocated my shoulder, but I soon shook it off and figured I was a little bruised, but no worse for the wear. My whole upper body was sore a couple of days following (first snowboard trip of the season, so it's to be expected). I've had difficulty raising my left arm, but it's not what I would call extremely difficult (definitely not impossible). My shoulder and collarbone have not been improving, and in fact feel worse with each ping day, and my mobility of that arm is becoming more impaired each day. I can't really tell if it's the shoulder or the collar-bone that hurts (the pain is "burning" and radiating). I also feel like my affected shoulder is "slouching" more than the other, but part of me thinks that could be psychological. Is it even possible to go so long with a fracture and not know it? Is it more likely that I pulled a muscle in my shoulder? My insurance sucks, and I'd hate to spend money on an x-ray unless there was a real concern.

So I like watching old snl episodes on my netflix account, but the episode all seem to be cut up/altered. I understand they cant do the Musical guest, but they tend to cut out skits entirely. Followed road work diversion down a bus lane. pulled for going thro bus lane red light.?

hi. i followed a circle blue sign with white arrow pointing diagonal left upwards. There was a road 80 to 90 degree angle left. so ume the sign would be horizontal for this. there was also a road virtually straight ahead but slightly left. i followed this round believing it to be correct. a car pulled down a side road infront of me. didnt follow it as there were no diversion signs to go that way. my normal procedure is to follow straight ahead until next diversion sign. just after this side road was a red light sign next to it read, Light changes green for buses only. I went through as i was still following the diversion. a police woman pulled me told me i was driving in a bus lane. asked me to park up on double yellow lines near a lowered pavement area for people to cross. i was wondering if this procedure is normal? do 2 wrongs from following a road diversion and police officer instructions make a right? this happened in wakefield i am from leeds. Strange empty folders appearing in windows network?

On our network at work, there are folders that appear inside of other folders. No one is creating the folders and the folders are empty. We delete them, and they'll reappear. The folders are usually named "15" but we have also seen "12," "13," and "14" too. Our IT person says that she has no idea what these folders are or how they're getting there. Pilates Vs. Weight Training?? (for weightloss & to keep it off)?

I currently am trying to lose the last stubborn 15 pounds (7kilo's) originally was 25 pounds.... and have been doing Kickboxing from (2hrs - 5hrs a week) for the last year and Weights for the last 12 weeks and have lost 10 pounds in the last year ... its slow but atleast i'll keep it off.. I have just done a few pilates cles and as I do so much already was wondring if I can ditch my weight training (3 x 30mins a week) and replace with the pilates which I enjoy doing alot more... but will I lose the muscle definition I have just started to build and will pilates keep building muscle for me (as I have heard the more muscle you develop the faster the metabolism becomes) ?? basically can I get away with doing pilates instead of weights with the same results??

Is my roommate being unreasonable? Problem with boyfriend.?

My roommate has a problem with my significant other coming over to our apartment. My boyfriend doesn't use our utilities (no showers, cooking, etc) and doesn't hang out in shared space. Simply, when he visits we retreat to my room and he'll spend the night approximately 3 nights a week and I visit his apartment around the same frequency (~2 nights). My roommate has a problem with how much time we spend together and feels that I've misled him because he wants us to spend more time together. However, my other roommate also has a boyfriend who's a consultant and comes in on Thursdays to fly out Sundays. He actually stays at the apartment (uses utilities) but there hasn't been any complaint of him from my bothered roommate. I want to understand his perspective but it seems that there's a double standard and I don't see how he's impeding on my roommates space or life routine. I think I'm being accommodating but I don't want to be told X many nights I can have my boyfriend over in my own room. He complains that he wants to see me more but I've been very straightforward about not hanging out during the week because I'm usually tired from work and like to retire in my room. Well one very important thing that I have done is to not have children. This already reduces impact on the environment to a great extent. However I have read that the climate change hype is not actually true but is just another lie to help control and frighten the mes (I am not saying this is the case, but its a possibility).

My Doberman puppy (7 weeks) is eating small pebbles from our garden.?

Puppies tend to eat just about anything. So you have to be very careful as this is potentially life threatening. I couldnt give my puppy any toys, dog beds, or really access to anything while I was away because she would tear them up and swallow them. I would find her vomiting many strange and diffrent objects. It can be really scarry. But eventually they grow out of it as they get older. The best thing to do is to keep her away from the rocks. I would go to the hardware store and get that 3 foot wire fencing/chicken wire and some metal stakes. You can pound them into the dirt and attach the fencing. It is temporary and doesnt cause any damage. I had some friends who did this to keep dogs out of part of the yard they were destroying. And I would just observe her for the next few days and see if she is eating and pooping fine. It wouln't hurt to call the vet and ask too.

Apparently there is a new update on fimware but it hasnt been uploaded completely yet on samsung blu ray players so if u go to see if u have an update it will say there are none (it was just released in march). As soon as he woke up that morning he was in a bad mood, (hangover?) which is understandable. but then he puts on an Ecko Tshirt, jean shorts and air force 1's for church!!! i made him change into a collered shirt at LEAST. i didnt want his attitude to come out if i asked him to change his shoes or shorts....so he went like that..when we met my mom, her bf and my sister and her fiance, we walked to the church service since they live so close...the next thing i know i look behind me and my bf is like a mile behind everyone..walkin slowwww and just acting like he doesnt care! so i ignore him all the way to church and thru the service and on the way back he does the same thing! my mom said lets stop and wait cuz we could barely see him he was so far...then we see him bending over and cant make out what he was doing...when we finally get back to the house and he catches up, he comes up to my mom and says "i need water" but not in a nice way...he told me he threw up. but i dont really believe him cuz he exaggerates everythingggg! and i mean everything.so then we went to breakfast...well iguess it was lunch..and he refused to eat because he didnt want the food we were having...if he wasnt being so rude he might have had a say in where we went!!!!..so we've been fighting non stop since then and i told him i wanted to leave. so when i woke up this morning i saw a note and an easter card ( a little late lol) i texted him at work and said a stupid card isnt gona fix anything...u hurt me and disrespected my family. It didn't pull in cold air, but the compressor didn't have to work nearly as hard since the coils were in sub freezing air most of the winter instead of being in the warmer house temperature air. It worked until some mice decided to build a nest around the warm coils and chew on electric wires. The new fridge didn't fit in the same hole in the wall and we covered it over.

Please help with 9 month old sleeping?

My little boy will be 9 months old Friday. Until now he would only take naps for 20 minutes at the time and it's getting a little bit better now but at night time as soon as I lay him down he wakes up. He wont sleep in his own bed and wakes up at least one or two times an hour some hours. Most of the time it's even more than that. (several times an hour) and needs me to nurse him back to sleep. He still wakes up a lot even when he's in the bed with me. He uses me as a pacifier. I have offered him water in a bottle and a pacifier and he refuses both. I tried giving him formula before bed to hold him longer but he wouldn't take enough and so it didn't help. He will only take 2 or 3 ounces. How much formula should a 9 month old be taking in one bottle? I have tried the cry-it-out method along with everything else I have found to try and nothing works. I'm completely exhausted please help. Thanks!

How Do I Get Rid Of A Headache That Won't Go Away?

Alright, on Thursday of this month, December 27th, I was sledding with a friend. I saw not that there was a ditch at the bottom of the hill until it was too late. I desperately attempted to avoid the ditch and failed. My sled hit the ditch head-on, and I went flying. I landed on my posterior end, and my head felt horrible. The pain, I thought, would go away after a couple Ibuprofen pills, but alas, it did not cease to pound with pain. The headache hasn't gone away yet, and the pain still lingers. I found that it hurts especially when I wake up, but perhaps that is because I haven't had Ibuprofen in 10 hours. The pain is also apparent in my ear, and surrounding the entire right hemisphere of my cranium. It is mostly focused on my forehead and ear. I am in desperate need of suggestions upon what I should do.

Dirt bike questions?

First of all the gas queston...Depends upon what type of bike and what type of tank you have on it...If it is a desert tank on a four stroke it will last over a 100 miles usually...If it is a regular tank on a four stroke about 70 miles...If it is a two stroke thats a whole nother story your talking like 30 miles...It also depends upon your style of riding and the type of riding your doing...As for riding it on the street....You shouldn't be skidding if you have off road tires on but yes it will burn up your tires faster if you ride on the road but if its only 2 blocks you'll never know...I road over 200 miles on pavement in mexico with new dirt tires on and they are still just fine.....And not sure what the last part of your question was supposed to be about it getting taller in the back...Once again don't know what type of bike you have...Opps my bad I just noticed you said 150...Those are awesome bikes I just sold mine...But I wouldn't by the 150F I would buy the 150 expert with the full suspension, electronic start and the bomb engine...If I wasn't getting that I would buy a Honda 250X. Also it is hard to gauge not knowing your size, age or riding expierance...I am 5 foot 2 inches and I currently ride a 250 but the bike is too tall/hevey for me which makes it hard when I single track, but the suspension makes it so worth it, but if I had the money I would buy me a Honda CRF150 Expert...Just like the 250 but smaller and lighter...

Montana is never going to be an urban center, for example, but their interests should be considered... take, for example, a political issue regarding ranching. People in California and New York won't place much interest on making sure ranchers are doing okay... they'd be all for heavily taxing the industry and/or removing subsidies. However, that would be to the detriment of us all, as we all depend on domestic beef to control the prices that we pay for a steak or hamburger. Same thing goes with farming. So, in the wisdom of our Founding Fathers, even if we don't agree with representing the interests of all Americans, whether rural or urban, in the long run, it's to all our benefit. It's the same idea, on a larger scale, with representative Democracy. When did u come to like afl?

i got into it as an adult. Growing up in Wollongong NSW its not part of the culture to play and follow AFL as the town is rugby league mad. I got into in a rather weird way. I worked all day saturday and would come home exhausted and flop in front of tv. The only thing on then was Swans games...i watch a few and every game the Swans clawed back unbelievably high margins to win...one game it was something crazy like 10 goals in the 4th quarter...i was hooked!...3 years later the swans won the title..i was hooked...an now am a rabid AFL fan...its crazy! lol

Well, I got her a Good Housekeeping magazine that had the Jonas Brothers on the cover because she likes that band, and didn't think to read it first. It's Good Housekeeping, for crying out loud. But, in the back, the magazine had a story on how to keep the secret of Santa from one's kids. She's a reader and read the whole magazine and seemed a bit heartbroken at first. But when I got home and spoke to her, she actually seemed OK with it. At least now I get the credit for all this good stuff!

Hey. Im Maz, and my best friends Louison. We went to primary school together and yeah, we hated each other until we were in year 6. Then it all changed, she asked me to sit next to her in cl, so I did. They all went to Louisons, Not because of Louison, It just happened to be there choice. But my dad wremaininging firm, saying I must go to the better school. Im not angry that I went to st nicholas' (my current school). Im happy that I went to a better school. I made friends and Yeah, I wasn't the most popular girl, but Does it matter in life to be popular? But iot was the opposite with Louison. She was queen bee, And you know how big it is to be the most popular girl in year at high school. I know most of her new 'friends' are just using her for popularity, but whenever I try and tell her, she has a go at me. I know im overprotective but I don't want louison to do anything to stupid (trust me, shes the sort of person who would). Her new friends always gossip about me, they call me a dork and ask louison why she was ever friends with me. (My other friend tells me this(and yes, she not stirring, I can trust her)) The worst part is she doesent say to them, Don't be so mean, shes my best mate. She also told me to stop being such a baby. But the worst thing shes ever done to me, Is say to me, Iwouldn'tt' care if my mum dropped down dead. She probablydidn'tt intentionally mean it, But how the hell can you say that tosomebodiess face, when You know that there mum has died. I justdon'tt know what to do anymore, I hate her so much, here'ss something which is making me wanna be her friend, Idon'tt know whether its the connection Ive got with her family. Her mum and ad are split but when we went to her dads, me and her step mum got talking and she was telling me how louisons other friends are rude and mean and impoliete.
