Im not happy with my smile because of my teeth and would like to know what I can do to make them look better.?

I have 2 Crowns in the upper front of my teeth and Im no longer happy with them. My gum line has receded and I have the blue line showing now. I got these crowns over 10 years ago, but I have also had to have 2 filling in the front of my teeth. My insurance does not cover much and so I am willing to pay some out of pocket but not sure as to what price I am looking at. What options can I suggest with my dentist about making me feel better about my smile as I know that veneers cannot be used on crowns and crowns cannot be whitened? I am going in next week to have one of my front tooth fillings worked on and would like to know before he starts it and matches the color of my filling to the color my teeth are now. I am in desperation as I am planning on my wedding next year and Im not even excited enough to think that I will look beautiful as a bride in a white dress with a smile like this. PLEASE HELP!!!
