How did your kid figure out the Santa Claus mystery?

My kid was getting long in the tooth but still believed, despite most of her friends stopping believing. I kept it going -- I just couldn't be the bearer of bad news. Well, I got her a Good Housekeeping magazine that had the Jonas Brothers on the cover because she likes that band, and didn't think to read it first. It's Good Housekeeping, for crying out loud. But, in the back, the magazine had a story on how to keep the secret of Santa from one's kids. She's a reader and read the whole magazine and seemed a bit heartbroken at first. But when I got home and spoke to her, she actually seemed OK with it. At least now I get the credit for all this good stuff!
