Why do so many people not realize that voting for Mitt Romney would be a really big mistake for this country?

This nation in these times needs a christian leader not someone who belongs to a cult that perverts the true gospel why do so many people back mitt romney. I think Mike Huckabee should be getting the votes from the conservatives but they seem to all be going to romney and i cannot figure out why christians don't realize what this would mean if our country has a mormon leader we need to band together in prayer and petition to make sure this does not happen.
